Dr. Gross
Doc knew at a young age that dentistry would be his life long career. Growing up in a military family, he has lived both stateside and abroad. Johnnie started his dental practice in Monson in 1986. His love of new technology has made the Family Laser Dental Center one of the most advanced dental offices in New England. Doc’s hobbies include photography, vintage cars and motorcycles, bird dog training, and BBQ.
Jill
Office Manager
Docs better half. Jill has made her home in Western Mass since birth. She and Doc married in 1991. Jill transitioned to the dental office after a career in nursing that included emergency medicine, occupational health, case management, and medical research. She is now semi-retired and enjoying more time with family and friends .
Leah
RDH
Leah joined the team in January, 2021. Leah graduated from Quinsigamond Community College in 2017 with her degree in dental hygiene. She grew up here in town and will always consider herself a Monsonite. When not at work Leah spends her days at home with her husband, their twin daughters, and all their pets.
Heather
CDA
Heather has been part of the team at Family Laser Dental Center since 2001 and enjoys serving the dental needs of her hometown community. She is a graduate of Porter & Chester Institute and holds an Associate Degree in Science from Bay Path University. For 20 years, Heather has proudly held a DANB certification as a dental assistant. Some of her many passions include antiquing, decorating, gardening and studying history. When not in the office, she can be found spending time with her family and Yorkshire terrier, Maggie.
Amanda Taylor
Certified Dental Assistant
Amanda joined our practice in August, 2023, however she is not new to dental assisting. She earned her Massachusetts Dental Assisting Certification from Boston Reed College in January 2013. Prior to the dental field she was a CNA. She has always enjoyed helping others. Amanda grew up in Sturbridge but migrated to Palmer with her husband, daughter, a dog and cat. She enjoys taking trips to Jamestown Rhode Island with her family in her spare time.
